Keeping Busy

Don't sit around and dwell on your ex girlfriend all day long, hoping she will call and put an end to all this. This is counterproductive and will only make you crack and call her instead. Focus on work, go to the gym, start dressing sharp and keep your attitude positive. Easier said than done but you can actually fake this part until you really do start feeling good about yourself again.

Be Cool About The Break Up

Acting indifferent and agreeable about the break up is perhaps the last emotion you'll want to feel right now, but a lot of guys screw it up by NOT practicing this as early as possible. Doing this has a few great benefits.

  • It allows you time to cool down and think before you leap.
  • It shocks your ex girlfriend into wondering what is really going on with you.

The last one is especially a great because you want her to miss you. Missing you will create tension on her end and sooner or later, she can't help but want to ease that tension.

Be Grateful

As funny as this sounds, being grateful about your life can instantly make you feel good no matter what situation you're in. If you want your ex girlfriend back, you need to stop cloaking on the poor-me attitude and say you're just fed up with it already. You need to be fed up with feeling depressed and miserable over the break up before you can allow yourself to develop a new attitude.

Be grateful for what IS in your life right now, and focus on that for a few minutes every day.
