Step 3:
If your ex girlfriend is not talking to you even after multiple attempts, cut off contact with her and wait for her to come after you instead. I wouldn't suggest calling her up or sending her a letter just to TELL her you're going on No Contact. It's not necessary and in many cases will only end up with the two of you in arguments. Your actions will let her know pretty clearly what your intentions are.
Step 4:
Stick to no contact and keep yourself busy with other areas of your life. Focus on work or school. Go out with friends and avoid talking about your ex at all times. Even though talking about things will be seem like its relieving, often it only magnifies the void you feel. Instead, replace thinking of her with other activities in your life.
Before you start know that there will be obstacles and you will make mistakes. But the important thing is to pick yourself up and keep it going. Don't backtrack just because of one mistake. Going this consistent will help get you to where you want to be.
Step 2:
Assist your actions so far. Have you been acting nothing but desperate around her since the break up? Were you constantly calling her, annoying her and pleading for her to take you back? Resist pushing these kind of behaviours onto her in the future but rest assured, its not the end of the world if you've made some or all of these mistakes already.
Step 1:
First and foremost, before we go into the heart of the solution, know that no amount of planning or scheming will help you if you dive into it head first without understanding WHY. Why did the break up even occur? Did she leave because she didn't feel appreciated, did she find someone else because she couldn't trust you? Worry the arguments and the trails until they lead you to the core issues that broke you two apart. This is very important so cheat and skip this part.
